For almost ten years, GoGift’s story has been closely tied to Nordisk Film, part of the Egmont Group. The historic building in Valby was more than just an office — it was a place where our culture, our people, and our ambitions took shape.

But every chapter has its turning point. Today, we are writing the next one: a strategic partnership with Waterland Private Equity and a new home in the historic district of Christianshavn, Copenhagen.

A Decade of Growth

Our time at Nordisk Film was transformative. Being part of Egmont gave us a strong foundation and the opportunity to grow from a Nordic company into an international player. We built trusted partnerships, developed our products, and scaled our operations — all while staying true to our mission: making gifting simple, global, and meaningful.

A New Chapter with Waterland

Earlier this year, GoGift entered into a strategic partnership with Waterland Private Equity. This marks a natural next step after more than a decade of growth within Nordisk Film and Egmont. With Waterland’s international experience and resources, we are ready to accelerate our global journey — expanding into new markets, strengthening our digital solutions, and unlocking fresh opportunities for our clients and partners worldwide.

Moving from One Historic Place to Another

Relocating offices is always more than a logistical challenge. For us, it was also a symbolic moment. After saying goodbye to one historic home, we found ourselves drawn to another. Our new headquarters are located in Christianshavn, a district as rich in history as it is alive with creativity and innovation.

The Spirit of Christianshavn

Christianshavn has always been a place of international connections. Since the 17th century, the district has been defined by merchants, trade, and sea routes — a true gateway to Europe.

Today, Christianshavn carries that same spirit of openness but in a new form. The neighborhood has become home to creative companies, architectural firms, startups, and some of Copenhagen’s most vibrant restaurants and cultural spaces.

It is, in many ways, a bridge between old and new Copenhagen. And for GoGift, it’s the perfect metaphor: moving from our traditional roots with Egmont and Nordisk Film to our future of global growth with Waterland.

Looking Ahead

Our move to Christianshavn is not just about a new address. It’s about energy, opportunity, and ambition. Together with Waterland, we are embracing a future where GoGift continues to scale internationally, innovate our gifting solutions, and support businesses across the globe.

From one historic location to another, we carry our heritage forward while keeping our eyes on what’s next.

The story of GoGift is far from finished. In fact, it feels like we are only getting started.
